Rabbi Scharf grew up in Brooklyn, New York, and received his rabbinic ordination from Rabbinical Seminary of America in Queens, New York in 2017.
Rabbi Scharf is known for his warmth and exuberance as well as his ability to work hand-in-hand with parents and staff to promote the growth of well-balanced children imbued with a love for Torah and mitzvos. His dedication to the continuity of Jewish education is the driving force behind his devotion and passion for Shalom Torah Academy.
Rabbi Scharf and his wife Vivi live in Marlboro, NJ with their 5 children.
