Rabbi Freedman is originally from Baltimore, Maryland, where his father served as the principal of a girls’ elementary school for nearly 40 years. He comes from a distinguished family of educational leaders—his maternal grandfather and great-grandfather both held administrative roles in various schools as well.
Rabbi Freedman received his degree from Ner Yisorel in Baltimore, as well as his rabbinic ordination from the Jerusalem Kollel.
Rabbi Freedman brings over 15 years of extensive experience in both informal and formal Jewish education. He has most recently served as an administrator on the rabbinic staff of Torah Links of Middlesex County, playing a key role in guiding and supporting community learning initiatives.
He currently lives in East Brunswick, NJ with his wife, Shani, and their 7 children.
